CORONATION, Alta. – After an emotional night of competition at the Coronation Rodeo Grounds, Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta) emerged the supreme competitor, registering a flawless 2-for-2 outing and the season’s first 90-point ride to win the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada Touring Pro Division’s Lori Eno Memorial Bull Riding.

The win allowed Tetz to grow his lead atop the race for the 2026 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus as he chases his record tying third national title at season’s end.

Tetz was quick to make his presence known, winning Round 1 via an 85.8-point ride on Joker On A Jack (Thompson Rodeo/K Rose Ranch).

In the championship round, Tetz was next tasked with Posty (Foley Bucking Bulls). Nodding with confidence, Tetz burst from the chutes making the requisite 8 with ease. Tetz was marked a monstrous 90 points, the first 90-point ride on Canadian soil of the 2026 season.

The golden finish earned Tetz a crucial 137 national points. He extended his lead to 384.33 points over No. 2 Gilmar Santana (Ouro Preto, Brazil).

Santana competed at the Lori Eno Memorial Bull Riding, but was shutout, going 0-for-1. He was bucked off by Cinch Jeans Broken Glass (Big Stone Rodeo Co.) in 4.37 seconds in Round 1.

As the only other rider to go a perfect 2-for-2, Edgar Durazo (Moctezuma, Mexico) was second.

The 2017 PBR Canada National Finals event winner rode Nacho (W Sunrise) for 83.8 points in Round 1 and Stray Bucks (S&M Bucking Bulls) for 89.7 points in the championship round.

Leaving Coronation Rodeo Grounds with 82 national points, Durazo catapulted from unranked to No. 30 in Canada.

Tyler Craig (Crossfield, Alberta) was third, collecting 54 national points.

Craig logged the second-best score of Round 1, outlasting Lets Get Tropical (Kinky Buckers) for 85.5 points. The reserved Albertan, however, fell short of a chance at victory when he was bucked off by Black Mamba (Lazy P Rodeo) in a close 7.62 seconds in the championship round.

On the hunt for his first PBR Canada Championship this November, Craig rose from No. 12 to No. 8 in the national standings, climbing within 788.83 points of the No. 1 rank.

Three-time PBR Canada Champion Aaron Roy (Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan) was fourth.

The veteran contender’s 85-point ride on Rock Steady (Vold Rodeo) in Round 1 earned him 38 national points.

Contending for an unprecedented fourth PBR Canada Championship, Roy rose from No. 16 to No. 13 in Canada.

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Jett Lambert (Grande Prairie, Alberta).

Lambert covered Lucifer (Wilson Rodeo) for 84.9 points in Round 1 to collect 33 national points. In the Canadian standings, Lambert rose from No. 38 to No. 31.

In the bull pen, SweetPro Choices (Eno Bucking Bulls) bucked supreme, crowned the Bull of the Event. The powerful animal athlete was scored an unmatched 44.3 points for his 5.82 seconds of work against Francisco Costa (Humaita, Brazil) in the championship round.
