MELFORT, Sask. – As the 2026 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada season continued Friday night in Melfort, Saskatchewan, two-time national Champion Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta) rode supreme, sweeping both rounds of competition en route to winning the Touring Pro Division’s Ripley Rumble PBR.

Tetz was electric as action got underway in Round 1, delivering the top marks when he outlasted Easy Living (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle) for 85.5 points.

The reserved Albertan then solidified his second Touring Pro Division win of the season when he registered the high-marked ride of the event, covering Linebacker (Skori Bucking Bulls) for 86.9 points in the championship round.

Tetz collected 62 national points for his golden finish at Ripley Ford.

The victory allowed him to further his stronghold on the No. 1 rank in Canada, growing his lead to 190.83 points over No. 2 Jeremy Maisonneuve (Val-des-monts, Quebec). Tetz is chasing history this season. Should he win the 2026 title, he would tie Aaron Roy (Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan) for most PBR Canada Championships won by one rider with three.

Second was Brazilian sensation Gilmar Santana (Ouro Preto, Brazil), garnering 46 national points.

Santana rode Into The Fray (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle) for 85.3 points in Round 1, before topping God Bless (W Sunrise) for 85.6 points in the final round.

Chasing his first PBR Canada Championship this November, Santana rose from No. 14 to No. 8 in Canada, climbing within 377.83 points of No. 1 Tetz.

Marshall Senger (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) was third courtesy of his 82.6-point ride on Rice Pudding (CS Bucking Bulls) in the opening round, and 84.6-point effort aboard Cracker Jack (W Sunrise) in the championship round.

As one of three riders competing twice via a double entry, Senger also finished tenth. His second Top-10 finish of the event included an 83-point ride on Kraken (Skori Bucking Bulls) in Round 1. The Saskatchewan rider was denied a perfect outing when he was tossed by Crazy Coupe (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle) in 3.69 seconds in the final round.

Leaving Melfort with 41 national points, Senger gained one position in the national standings, rising from No. 4 to No. 3. He is now 317.33 points behind No. 1 Tetz.

As the final rider to go a perfect 2-for-2, Chanse Skene (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan) was fourth.

Skene earned 27 national points for his 82.6-point ride on Twisted Reign (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle) in Round 1, and 83.6-point score on Whiskey Moon (Skori Bucking Bulls) in the championship round.

In the national standings, Skene climbed from unranked to No. 28.

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Dusty Golden (Mayerthorpe, Alberta).

Golden first struck in Round 1 when he made the requisite 8 on Hammer Time (Skor Bucking Bulls) for 85 points. He was denied a shot at the win when he was bucked off by Shockazoola (W Sunrise) in a close 6.13 seconds in the championship round.

The Albertan earned 17 national points, rising from No. 24 to No. 21 in Canada.

In the bull pen, Clifford (X6 Ranch Bucking Cattle) bucked a cut above the rest, crowned the Bull of the Event. The powerful animal athlete was marked 43 points for his 1.79-second buckoff of Stefan Tonita (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) in the final round.
