MOOSE JAW, Sask. –  As a sold-out crowd watched on inside Temple Gardens Centre in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Marshall Senger (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) showed up and showed out, going a perfect 2-for-2 to win his career-first PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada event, victorious at the Touring Pro Division’s Moose Jaw PBR Challenge, presented by PDL.

Senger got off to a hot start in Round 1, topping Nacho (W Sunrise) for 83.8 points.

Positioned fourth on the event leaderboard, the 20-year-old young gun then squared off against Black Mamba (Lazy P Rodeo) in the championship round. In what proved to be a perfect pairing, Senger topped the powerful animal athlete for 86.8 points to cement the event win.

Courtesy of the golden showing, Senger garnered 114 national points. He surged from No. 13 to No. 2 in the race for the 2026 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus. He now trails No. 1 Nick Tetz (Calgary, Alberta) by 284.5 points.

Tetz failed to grow his lead in Moose Jaw, shutout, going 0-for-1. The two-time PBR Canada Champion was bucked off by Jojo’s Mojo (Lazy P Rodeo) in 4.75 seconds in Round 1.

Second was two-time PBR Canada Champion Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan), earning 81 national points.

Buttar dominated Sippin Tequila (Doore Bucking/Lazy P Rodeo Co.) for 83.6 points in Round 1, before conquering Pyper (Foley Bucking Bulls) for 85.7 points in the championship round.

Chasing his record-tying third national title this November, Buttar rose from No. 14 to No. 4 in the Canadian standings, propelled within 319.5 points of No. 1 Tetz.

As the final rider to go a perfect 2-for-2, Garret Green (Meeting Creek, Alberta) was third.

After riding Double Twist (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) for 79.9 points in Round 1, Green punctuated his efforts inside Temple Gardens Centre with the high-marked ride of the event, topping Boogey (Foley Bucking Bulls) for a commanding 89.2 points.

Green returned home to Alberta with 69 national points, climbing from No. 12 to No. 6 in Canada. He is now 327.5 points behind the No. 1 rank.

Fourth was Round 1 winner Ashton Sahli (Red Deer, Alberta).

Sahli was unrivaled in the opening round, besting Cracker Jack (W Sunrise) for 86.6 points. The Albertan was denied the event win when he was bucked off by Monster Chip (TFB Ranch) in 2.1 seconds in the final round.

Seeking his first PBR Canada Championship, Sahli netted 49 national points. He gained two positions in the national standings, jumping from No. 9 to No. 7, edging within 330.5 points of No. 1 Tetz.

Rounding out the Top 5 in fifth was Brock Radford (De Winton, Alberta).

Despite being tossed in the opening round by Bad Magic (W Sunrise) in a close 5.69 seconds, Radford made the most of his call-back to the championship round. Quick to rebound, Radford made the requisite 8 on Shockazoola (W Sunrise) for 86.4 points.

Radford’s Top 5 showing earned him a crucial 34 national points, rising from No. 20 to No. 15 in Canada.

In the bull pen, Monster Chip bucked supreme, crowned the Bull of the Event. The powerful bovine athlete was marked a mammoth 43.8 points for his buck off of Sahli in the championship round.
