LONDON, Ont. – We’re rolling into the first leg of the eastern tour with the PBR Canada Cup Series event in London, Ontario, and we’re looking forward to two days this year.
Always a great event in London, home of the London Knights, Memorial Cup Champions. We aim to bring the same heat as their hockey team does.

First and foremost, a lot of bulls from out east will be in London. I don't know a lot of bulls, and a lot of guys aren't going to know the bulls, but every time we come out here it's always pretty good ones. The guys seem to get along with them. We end up riding a lot of bulls in the long round and look for the same thing here.

There's lots of good matchups, we’re going to have lots of scores on the board I think in Round 1.
Below are my bets for Round 1 of the event from London. Let us know your thoughts and your picks for the Cup Series event by tagging @PBRCanada on X.
Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Canada Life Place Gate 1 Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.ca.
Dakota Buttar vs. Kryptonite
Dakota Buttar is riding really hot right now. We saw him in Brandon make a really phenomenal couple rides, and a great ride in the short round, to almost win the event, but come up shy by one point. He's going to want to redeem himself in London, try to get the win. He's got a good bull to do it on, Kryptonite of Nansen Vold. This is a little white bull. He’s pretty hot, got a lot of action, usually around to right, but we saw him go left in Brandon. It doesn't matter I don't think which way this bull goes, he's going to fit Dakota’s style, pop in the air, kind of up underneath himself. Look for and86-87-point ride for Dakota to set his weekend up.
Coy Robbins vs. Hou’s Sippin
This is originated who originated out in Alberta from Nansen Vold and Jake Wilson who now makes his home in Ontario. Great bull, big red bull, right in the door to the right. They’ve won a lot of money on this bull in the last few years. Look for the same thing here. Look for Coy to ride straight down the middle, jump for jump, should be into his hand for and 84-85-point ride to set himself up for the weekend.
Koltin Hevalow vs. Hat Trick
Great to see Hevalow back in Canada. Great bull, gray match up that he's got. This is a good size brindle bull, will spin either way, he’s got some forward movement to him. We’ve seen guys stay on him in the past, you’ve got to do things right, but he's rideable, and a guy that's got Hevalow’s status should ride this one all day, both ways, either way that he goes. Look for an 85-point ride for Hevalow.
Daniel Keeping vs. Relatively Famous
Daniel Keeping, member of the Texas Rattlers, making his debut in Canada. This is a bull that's in my picks quite often. He's a solid bull, big red bull, usually in my picks for a right-handed rider to be around to the right. The last few trips he’s had a look to the right and then went back to the left, which will be back into Daniel’s hand. But for Keeping, I don't think it will matter which way this bull goes. The way that Daniel rides, his form should fit this bull, he moves ahead a little bit, kind of runs you off your rope and those are kind of the ones that Daniel likes to stay on, sit up and spur. So look for a great ride here, could be a round win, 87 points.
Jake Gardner vs. Diggin Up Bones
Jake is arguably the top bull rider in Canada right now. He's got it on his mind that he wants to win the PBR Canadian title. He's going to the Touring Pros, he’s double entering everywhere, he's putting in the time, he’s putting in the effort, he's having fun and its showing in his riding. Super proud of Jake and what he accomplish so far. Look from him to continue that success here in London on a bull called Digging Up Bones. This is a gray muley from Thompson Rodeo. We saw Austin Paley ride him in Brandon, right in the door to the right. One thing you’ve got to ready for with him is he might jump out of it at the end, but ride him right down the middle, do things correct and he should ride this one all day, and 85-86 points for Jake to keep rolling.
