HAMILTON, Ont. – For the first time in history, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s elite Cup Series will buck into Hamilton, Ontario, holding the PBR Hamilton Classic at TD Coliseum on May 30, 2026.
The PBR Hamilton Classic will have added significance as the first of just three PBR Canada Cup Series events in Ontario during the 2026 individual season.
PBR Canada’s Cup Series, which set tour records in eleven cities in 2025, welcoming more than 75,000 fans, regularly features Canada’s best riders alongside some of the organization’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls from across the nation.
For one night only, fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the unpredictable, action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 1,800-pound opponents born to buck.
In addition to the upcoming event marking the first Cup Series tour stop in Hamilton, it will also be just the third ever PBR event held in the city and first in more than 15 years.
Hamilton previously welcomed the developmental Touring Pro Division in both 2007 and 2009 as Tyler Pankewitz (Warburg, Alberta) and Steven Turner (Cochrane, Alberta), respectively, rode to the win.
The Cup Series will debut in Hamilton on the spurs of one of the most competitive title races in history, as Jared Parsonage (Maple Creek, Saskatchewan), Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan) and Jake Gardner (Fort St. John, British Columbia) all delivered career seasons as they duked it out until the final outs of the season for the 2025 PBR Canada Championship and accompanying $100,000 bonus.
The bull riding action for 2026 PBR Canada Cup Series’ Hamilton Classic, begins at 7:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, May 30.
Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. EST, and start at $30, standard ticketing fees may apply, and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.ca.
