OTTAWA, Ont. – For the third consecutive season, PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada’s elite Cup Series will buck into Ottawa, Ontario, holding the PBR Ottawa Classic at Canadian Tire Centre on June 13, 2026.

The PBR Ottawa Classic will have added significance as one of just three PBR Canada Cup Series events in Ontario during the 2026 individual season.

PBR Canada’s Cup Series, which set tour records in eleven cities in 2025, welcoming more than 75,000 fans, regularly features Canada’s best riders alongside some of the organization’s top international athletes, squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls from across the nation.

For one night only, fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the unpredictable, action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous bull-riding athletes face off against their 1,800-pound opponents born to buck.

The PBR Ottawa Classic will mark the sixth event of the 2026 regular season for PBR Canada’s premier Cup Series.

When the Cup Series last travelled to Ottawa in June 2025, welcoming a record-setting crowd, Jared Parsonage (Maple Creek, Saskatchewan) delivered a dominant 2-for-2 performance, including a monster 90-point ride, to win the event at the Canadian Tire Centre.

As competition got underway with Round 1, Parsonage was tasked with Red Rust (Vold Rodeo). Parsonage dominated the bull for 85 points, punching his ticket to the championship round tied for third.

With an early selection in the final round’s bull draft, Parsonage elected to take on Moonwalk (Thompson Rodeo Livestock) as his final animal athlete opponent inside the home of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators.

Parsonage delivered a picture-perfect ride, conquering the bovine for a mammoth 90 points to cement the event win. The monster effort was the first of three 90-point rides in Canada during the regular season during which both Parsonage and Moonwalk finished atop the standings.

Courtesy of the golden finish, Parsonage earned a crucial 205 national points. He rose form No. 6 to a then No. 3 in the national standings, propelled within 332.17 points of then No. 1 Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan).

Other past PBR Canada Cup Series event winners in Ottawa are: Boudreaux Campbell (2024 – Crockett, Texas); Austin Richardson (2018 – Dallas, Texas); Cody Casper (2017 – Pacific, Washington) and Brant Atwood (2016 – Pampa, Texas).

The bull riding action for 2026 PBR Canada Cup Series’ Ottawa Classic, begins at 7:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, June 13.

Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. EST, and start at $30, standard ticketing fees may apply, and can be purchased at the Canadian Tire Centre Box Office and online at Ticketmaster.ca.
