PBR returns to Lloydminster, SK
CALGARY, Alberta (August 31, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Canadian Cup Series presented by Wrangler returns to the Border City on Saturday, October 2 for the Lloydminster Invitational presented by SaskTel. Lloydminster, SK is the 7th Cup Series stop in the race to the Canadian National Finals. For one night only, the top bull riders in Canada and the world take over the Lloydminster Exhibition to battle the fiercest bucking bulls on the planet beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 3, starting at $20 and can be purchased in person at the Lloydminster Exhibition and Northern Factory Work Wear or by calling (306) 825-5571.
Expected to compete are current National Standings leader Tyler Thomson (Black Diamond, AB); fan favorite and Lloydminster resident Zane Lambert (Westbourne, MB); and two time Lloydminster Event Champion Vince Northrop (Norquay, SK).
The Lloydminster Invitational presented by SaskTel consists of two rounds of adrenaline-fueled action pumped with pyrotechnics and rock ‘n’ roll excitement. After Round One, the top 10 riders will advance to the Championship Round for a shot at earning the coveted event title. In the end, the cowboy with the highest total score on two bulls will be declared the winner. This is not a rodeo; it’s the Toughest Sport on Earth!
