OTTAWA, Ontario (February 21, 2010) - Harve Stewart (Stephenville, TX, USA) came into the Ottawa Invitational off his win in Abbotsford, BC and won back to back PBR Canadian Cup Series presented by Wrangler event titles. After putting together two rides in front of a packed house at Scotiabank Place on Saturday night, Stewart went home with $6,426.00 and his second victory of the season.
“It feels good to stay on bulls this year,” Stewart said from the winners circle. “I don’t think I rode more than five bulls last year so it feels great to come up here and win.”
Stewart covered Girletz Rodeo Stock’s bull Spider Monkey in round one for 82 points. After conquering Yellowhair (Mark Reed) for 85.5 points in the championship round, Stewart added another event buckle to his collection. “This one might be lucky,” chuckled Stewart referring to his Abbotsford buckle. “I might keep it on all year.”

Australian superstar Jared Farley (Kempsey, NSW, AUS) and all-star Chance Roberts (Jewett, IL, USA) tied for second and each added just under $4000.00 to their bank accounts. 2009 Team Canada member Devon Mezei (Madden, AB) captured fourth after conquering J Bar W Ranch’s bull, Peter Dragon in round one for 85 points, finishing the weekend with $3,672.00.
